Anirudh to score tunes for Suriya's 'Singham 3'

Suriya, who is awaiting the release of Venkat Prabhu's Masss is currently busy with the shooting of ’24’ directed by Vikram Kumar. Suriya will be joining hands with Hari for the third installment of 'Singham'. Tentatively titled 'Singham 3' the film is expected to go on the floors in September.  As per reports Shruti Haasan has been roped to play female lead opposite Suriya for the second time. The duo earlier paired togehter for ‘Ezhaam Arivu’ directed by A R Murugadoss.

Now the latest update is that Anirudh has been roped into compose music for the film. This is the first time Anirudh working for a Suriya Movie.  The young music director is on a roll with too many biggies in this kitty including Ajith 56. It is worth mentioning here that Devi Sri Prasad had composed music for both Singam and Singam 2 as well. 

Manjima Mohan to pair up Simbu in Gautham's next

Malayalam actress Manjima Mohan is all set to make her Tamil debut opposite Simbu h in his upcoming romantic-drama "Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada' to be directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. Initially, Gautham roped in Pallavi Subhash to play Simbu's love interest. We now hear that Manjima has replaced Pallavi Subhash, who had to leave the project due to date issues.

'Manjima Mohan was cast after Gautham was impressed with her work in the recent Malayalam hit 'Oru Vadakkan Selfie'. She's expected to join the sets soon,' a source from the film's unit told.

Having started her career as a child artist in Malayalam movies such as 'Madhuranombarakkaattu', 'Sundarapurushan' and 'Priyam', the 22-year old actress is making her Tamil debut with his project. The Telugu version of the film, which is yet-untitled and features Naga Chaitanya in the lead, is on the floors as well. Manjima may also play the lead in the Telugu version as well.

Rajkummar Rao wraps up shooting for 'Shimla Mirchi'

Actor Rajkummar Rao who will be soon seen next opposite Vidya Balan in "Hamari Adhuri Kahani" has finished shooting for filmmaker Ramesh Sippy's upcoming film "Shimla Mirchi". The 'CityLights' actor took to micro-blogging website Twitter on Tuesday to share the news.

"And it's a wrap for #ShimlaMirchi. What an amazing experience it was with the genius #RameshSippy sir & @dreamgirlhema & @Rakulpreet," the 30-year-old
actor tweeted.

'Yaariyan' actress Rakul Preet Singh is playing female lead opposite Rajkummar Rao. Veteran actress Hema Malini is playing an important role. "Shimla Mirchi" is a romantic comedy film, and if reports are to be believed, it is a story about how a single mother and her daughter fall in love with the same man.
