Shruti Haasan turns lawyer for Ajith's next

Shruti Haasan would be seen in the role of a lawyer in Siruthai Siva's upcoming movie. Ajith is playing lead role and Shruti is pairing opposite Thala Ajith for the first time in this action entertainer tentatively titled Thala 56. On Thursday, Shruti Haasan posted a pic of her from the sets with the caption "Late night shoot on the streets – it’s always beautiful to watch a city fall asleep".

Lakshmi Menon is playing the role of Ajith's sister in the movie. She has completed the first schedule of shooting with Ajith. Ashwin Kakumanu is expected to play Lakshmi Menon’s pair in the film.  It is rumour
ed that Thala Ajith will play cabbie in the film. Anirudh is scoring tunes while Kalaipuli S Thanu is producing it. The makers are aiming to release this movie on Diwali.

Aadhi to lock horns with Allu Arjun in Boyapati's next

It is known that Boyapati Srinu is all set to direct Allu Arjun's next and the film is expected to go on floors in the second week of August. Rakul Preet Singh will play Allu Arjun's love interest in this untitled action entertainer. Now the latest update is that Aadhi has been roped for the role of the antagonist in the film. Aadi has reportedly signed up to turn grey after hearing the script completely.

"Aadi has been signed on as the baddie. Director Boyapati Srinu really liked his performance in his last film and felt he would be perfect for the role with grey shades. Aadhi’s muscular body and his fluency in the language will be added advantage to enact the role. The official announcement will be made soon," a source from the film’s unit told.

'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' goes tax free in Uttar Pradesh


Salman Khan, who is currently riding high on the success of his recent release 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan', has one more reason to smile. The news is that Bajrangi Bhaijaan has been declared tax free in the state of Uttar Pradesh which is just another feather on the film's hat. UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Monday announced tax free status for "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" which is smashing records at the box office. The movie was made tax free after director Kabir Khan met the chief minister with the request.

Produced by  Salman Khan and Rockline Venkatesh, "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" revolves around a young speech-impaired girl from Pakistan who finds herself lost in India with no way to head back over the border to her home.
An Indian man (Salman Khan) undertakes the task to get her back to her home and reunite her with her family. Kareena Kapoor Khan played female lead role, while Nawazuddin Siddiqui played the role of a Journalist.
