Ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s ‘OK Kanmani’ featuring Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen in lead roles is slated for April 17th release. The romantic drama which is touted to be a sequel of ‘Alaipayuthey’ revolves around a young couple in a live-in relationship who go abroad to pursue their dreams.Now the latest news is that 'Ok Kanmani; is facing legal trouble over release. According to sources, a well-known film distributor has lodged a complaint with the Tamil Film Producers’ Council requesting to halt the release of ‘OK Kanamni’ till Mani Ratnam compensated the distributors for the huge losses they suffered while releasing his previous film ‘Kadal’.
AR Rahman is scoring music and PC Sreeram is handling cinematography.
