'ABCD 2' crosses Rs. 100 crore mark with a bang

Choreographer turned Director Remo D'Souza directed dance drama "ABCD 2" has raked in Rs 100 crore worldwide in just one week. Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor played lead roles in ABCD 2 the sequel to 'ABCD- Any Body Can Dance' has been very much appreciated by dance lovers and also by the common audiences. The movie earned a whopping Rs 46 crore in the first weekend itself and now entered the Rs 100 crore club with a thunderous bang.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the film's collection which has been breaking records ever since its release, on his Twitter handle.

He posted, "#ABCD2 crosses  100 *gross* in less than 1 week WORLDWIDE... India gross  92.85 cr + Overseas gross  1.8 mn [11.45 cr]. SUPERB!"(sic.).

What is more amazing  is that the first week's collection has left behind 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' collection too as per Taran Adarsh.

"#ABCD2 records HIGHEST *Week 1* biz of 2015 [so far], overtaking *Week 1* biz of #TanuWedsManuReturns [₹ 70.02 cr]. India biz. Hindi films (sic.)".
