Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have released few snaps of their wedding celebrations in Italy. The photos were posted on instagram each from the couple's two ceremonies. They were posted on Deepika and Ranveer's Instagram accounts at exactly the same time on Thursday evening. The pictures soon became viral on social media and many websites.
The wedding invitation card read, “With the blessings of our families, it gives us immense joy in sharing that our wedding is set to take place on the 14th and 15th November 2018. We thank you for all the love you have showered upon us over the years and seek your blessings as we embark on this incredible journey of love, loyalty, friendship and togetherness”.
The wedding was planned as a closed family event so there were very few celebrities from bollywood. Most of the bollywood celebs took to social media to congratulate the couple.
Hrithik Roshan was one amongst the first celebs who wrote: "Huge congratulations." The bride and groom wore Sabyasachi.
Karan Johar wished the couple on Twitter. Anushka Sharma welcomed the couple to the "club". Ranveer had made debut in band baaja bharat with her.
Deepika and ranveer have been in news for their hot chemistry on the sets of the Sanjay Leela Bhansali blockbuster Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela in 2013. From then on they have been in love but they never accepted it openly on any forum untill they announced the wedding dates on twitter.
The pre-wedding events started in deepika's hometown bengaluru with Nandi puja. After a few days, Ranveer Singh was spotted in his Mumbai home with haldi on his face and hands. Later, they were seen heading to Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Farah Khan’s homes in order to invite them for the wedding reception. Farah even shared an image with the actors on social media.
