Gopala Gopala first look motion poster unveiled

The first look motion poster of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan, Victory Venkatesh, Shriya Saran starring Gopala Gopala has been released few hours back. 'Tadakha' fame Dolly has directed Gopala Gopala, the remake of Hindi film 'Oh my God'. Venkatesh has repriced the role of Pareshrawal, while Pawan Kalyan will be seen as lord Krishna in this remake venture. Venky and Pawan looks handsome in the firstlook posters. The shooting of "Gopala Gopala" is going on at a fast pace and is expected to be wrapped up soon.

The satirical comedy drama has Shriya Saran, Chakraborty, Raghu Babu, Vennela Kishore, Posani Krishna Murali, Madhu Shalini and Prudhviraj in supporting roles. Anoop Rubens is composing music for Gopala Gopala, the joint production venture of Suresh Babu and Sharat Marar. Based on concept of difference between God and Godmen, this flick is slated to for release for this Sankranthi (January 2015).

Priyanka sing praises for her cousin Mannara

Actress Priyanka Chopra's cousin Mannara is making her Bollywood debut with Vivek Agnihotri's "Zid". Earlier known as Barbie Handa, Mannara has shot extremely bold scenes for Zid.  Recently, theatrical trailer of Zid was unveiled and expectations are riding high on this film.  Priyanka says her cousin Mannara has given a fantastic performance in her debut film "Zid", in a role that "asked for a lot".

"She (Mannara) is extremely free. She is not conscious of herself. For the first time, I have seen her act and I can say it is a very difficult part that she has been given in the film. There are a lot of complications in her role," Priyanka, 32, said here Tuesday at the music success party of "Zid".

"Being her first film, her role in the film asked for a lot, but she lived up to it and I think this is her strong point. She has perfectly lived up to her role, according to me. I think, from the first film point of view, she is fantastic," said Priyanka.

Lingaa gets clean U censor certificate

Superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming magnum opus "Lingaa" completed its censor formalitites. The censor board has issued a clean U certificate for 'Lingaa' and the film is gearing up for a massive release on Dec 12th. Confirming the release date Lingaa director KS Ravikumar posted “Glad and happy to share #Lingaa movie is censored and Certified U. Get ready to watch the movie on our #superstar #Rajinikanth Birthday. MOVIE RELEASE ON 12TH DECEMBER 2014”.

Bollywood Actress Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Shetty will be seen in the female lead roles. 'Lingaa' also features Santhanam, Jagapathi Babu, Karunakaran, Dev Gill and others in the key roles. AR Rahman is the music director. Rockline Venkatesh is producing the film on Rockline Entertainments banner.

Rekha's look as 'Begum' in Abhishek Kapoor's 'Fitoor'

The first look of Veteran actress Rekha from Abhishek Kapoor's upcoming movie "Fitoor" has been released. Rekha was seen sitting under a tree in a richly designed outfit by Manish Malhotra. The scene is shot in Kahsmir's Nishat Garden.

Fitoor is based on the Charles Dickens’ novel ‘Great Expectations’ and Aditya Roy Kapoor plays the central character of Pip. Fitoor will see Rekha in the role of temperamental begum, based on the character of Ms Havisham. Katrina Kaif is playing female lead opposite Aditya for the first time in "Fitoor".

 Produced by UTV Motion Pictures, Fitoor is slated to release in the second half of 2015.

Prakash Jha joins in Twitter

Filmmaker Prakash Jha , who is known for his critically acclaimed films like "Gangaajal", "Apaharan", "Raajneeti" and "Aarakshan" has joined the world of Twitter, seemingly to promote his next production, a comedy film "Crazy Cukkad Family".

His page mostly features retweets of the film's trailer, and updates on how many views it has received.

In one tweet, he posted: "Well done to my Crazy team of @CrazyCukkad Family. I believe the trailer is already on 1,10,156 views on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vIFAPIoIfw8."

Starring actors like Shilpa Shukla and Kushal Punjabi, the film is directed by Ritesh Menon.

Jha received a welcome tweet from Amitabh Bachchan and Arjun Rampal.

Satish Kaushik lands role in Bala's "Tharai Thappattai"

Bollywood actor-filmmaker Satish Kaushik, who captured evreyone's eye with his brilliant performance in Nagesh Kukunoor's "Lakshmi", has landed an important role in Bala Pazhanisaamy's upcoming Tamil film "Tharai Thappattai".

"Bala sir had approached Satish Kaushik for an important role in his film, which the latter grabbed it instantly. Satish will join the team from the next schedule," a source from the film's unit told.

Satish Kaushik had remade Bala's critically acclaimed Tamil film "Sethu" in Hindi as "Tere Naam" with Salman Khan and Bhumika. Since then, both have been great friends. Sources say Satish plays an important role in the film.

Siddharth's 'Enakkul Oruvan' gets clean U

Actor Siddharth who scored a hit with Karthik Subbaraj's "Jigarthanda" is gearing up for the release of his next film "Enakkul Oruvan". Thirukumaran Entertainments presenting Enakkul oruvan is the Tamil remake of the Kannada Superhit "Lucia". The film went for censoring yesterday and has received a clean U certificate without having to make any cuts.

Lucia actress Deepa Sannidhi is making her Tamil debut with Enakkul Oruvan. Prasad Marar who directed Lucia will also directed the Tamil version. Santhosh Narayanan’s music for the film is already topping the charts.  John Paul is in charge of editing.

Siddharth's 'Kaaviya Thalaivan' will be releasing in theaters on 28th November, while Enakkul O
ruvan will likely be releasing in December or January.

Vir Das secretly weds Shivani Mathur in Srilanka

Actor Vir Das, best known for his comic avatars in films like Love Aaj Kal (2009) Delhi Belly (2011), Go Goa Gone (2013), Amit Sahni Ki List and Revolver Rani is now a married man.
Vir Das tied the knot with his five year old girlfriend Shivani Mathur at a secret ceremony in Sri Lanka on October 19th.

Talking about his marriage, the comedian turned actor said, “We wanted to have to have a small ceremony for our wedding, there were only about 100 people, comprised of family and close friends.” He further added “I preferred my wedding to be a quiet affair. The rule at the wedding event was that everyone switched off their smart- phones to spend quality time with each other.”

Only family members and close friends of Vir Das and Shivani attended their marriage. The wedding consisted of a pool party, a rock concert, the sangeet ceremony and then the pheras. A source close to Vir said, 'Owing to Vir and Shivani’s busy schedule, the couple haven’t had the time to go for a honeymoon, but would be soon taking time out.'

Vir Das is quite excited as he has around five films slated for release next year.

'Happy New Year' script to enter Oscars library

Farah Khan's latest heist drama "Happy New Year"  has one more achievement to add to it.   The movie’s script has been included into Academy of Motion Pictures Library.  Farah Khan took to social networking website Twitter to share her joy and delight over the news and thanked her co-writers for penning the script.

"1 more reason 2 celebrate!! #HNY script goes to the Oscar library!! Bigg kiss to my co writers @mayurpuri n Althea k," she tweeted Sunday.

‘Happy New Year’, directed by Farah Khan, has an ensemble comprising SRK, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood, Vivaan Shah and Jackie Shroff.  The movie which was released Oct 24, has crossed over Rs.300 crore mark at the worldwide box office.

Sameera Reddy pregnant with her first child

Actress Sameera Reddy who caught the attention of Bollywood with movies like Darba Mana Hai, Plan, Musafir, No Entry, Naksha, Fool and Final, Race , De Dana Dan, Tezz and Chakravyuh is said to be expecting her first child in May 2015. The actress confirmed the same by saying: 'Yes, we are expecting and we all are very happy.'

Sameera Reddy tied the knot early this year to businessman Akshai Varde. The couple had met during a bike shoot  and started dating soon after. It is known fact that Akshai runs a customized bike company.

Sameera is extremely closer to her elder sister Meghna Reddy's son. The entire family of Sameera Reddy is excited about welcoming the second grandchild to the family.

Ravi Teja as Bengal Tiger in Sampath Nandi movie

Ravi Teja's next film after 'Kick 2' has been tentatively titled as 'Bengal Tiger' which is being directed by Sampath Nandi. Two leading ladies will star opposite Ravi Teja and one among them is Milky White Beauty Tamannah while another heroine is yet to be confirmed. For the first time, both Ravi and Tammu are going to pair up with one another.  Sampath Nandi who proved his mettle with movies like 'Emaindi Ee Vela' and Ram Charan's 'Raccha' was recently in news for his latest production "Gaalipatam" featuring Aadi. Ravi Teja and Sampath Nandi's combo will go on floors once Ravi Teja finishes 'Kick 2'. 

Parineeti Chopra yearns for a break

Actress Parineeti Chopra, who got a good break with her debut film "Ladies vs Ricky Bahl" is eagerly waiting for release of her next film "Kill Dil". During a recent media interaction Parineeti says she wants to see the reaction of audience to her latest film "Kill Dill" before signing her next movie.

Speaking with media Parineeti says "After 'Kill Dil' releases, I will take a break. I won't be seen on screen for maybe the next 9-10 months". Directed by Shaad Ali, "Kill Dil" also features Ranveer Singh, Govinda and Ali Zafar among others.

Parineeti, who is also considered one of the best among the young talent, admits she's reading a lot of scripts but will sign only after watching the fate of "Kill Dil".

"I may sign something soon. But I first want to see the audiences' reaction to my performance in 'Kill Dil' before deciding on what kind of a film to do next," said the actress, who was last seen in "Daawat-e-Ishq".

Talking about her holiday plans, she said "I'd love to go to Karachi. But we aren't meeting in Karachi. And not in Dubai either. I've gone to Dubai so many times that I know every corner of the place. So, no thanks. We three sahelis (friends) will meet up at a fourth destination".

Salman sister Arpita Khan Wedding invitation card

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's youngest sister Arpita Khan is all set to get married to her longtime boyfriend Aayush at Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad which will take place on 17 and 18 November respectively. The Royal Palace is booked for two days at a cost of Rs 2 crore. The wedding celebrations will kick off with the haldi ceremony, which will take place on November 16 in Mumbai.
