Shakun Batra's "Kapoor & Sons" first look in January 2016

Siddharth Malhotra, Fawad Khan, Alia Bhatt and Rishi Kapoor starring Kapoor & Sons shooting is going on in brisk pace. Shakun Batra of 'Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu' is directing the movie and Karan Johar is the producer. Now the latest news is that the first look of Kapoor & Sons will release in early January 2016.

Rishi Kapoor who is quite active on Twitter revealed the news in his latest tweet. Rishi wrote "Quite gung-ho about "Kapoor&Sons". Watch for the first look early January,hopefully! I am diametrically diffrent !

Fawad Khan and Sidharth Malhotra are also going to play writers in the film. Their characters will fight with each other to prove who is better and Rishi Kapoor will be playing grandfather to warring brothers. Buzz is that Rishi will be seen in an altogether new avatar in the family drama.

The movie is scheduled for release on 18th March 2016. 

Anushka's 'Size Zero' slated for October release

Actress Anushka Shetty is currently working on Prakash Kovelamudi’s forthcoming directorial "Size Zero". Arya is playing male lead in this Telugu-Tamil bilingual. Anushka will be seen as a obese woman in this movie whereas Arya plays as a fitness trainer to an obese Anushka. The Rudramadevi actress has gained nearly 12 kilos for her role in 2 months. If the latest buzz is to be believed, it is heard that the makers of this movie are planning to release the movie on October 2nd or in the first week of October. The logo of this movie was released yesterday and it is quite interesting with the tagline ‘Sannajaji Nadumu’. Keeravani has given the music for the film, which is produced by PVP cinemas.  The Tamil version has been titled as Inji Iduppazhagi.

Dhansika turns Rajinikanth's on-screen daughter

Superstar Rajinikanth's forthcoming gangster flick 'Kaali' under the direction of Ranjith will commence its regular shoot from September. We have already informed you that Radhika Apte has been roped to play female lead opposite Rajini sir. Now the latest update is that actress Dhansika has been roped to play an important role in this movie. As per reports Dhansika will be seen playing Rajinikanth's daughter while Radhika will play Superstar's wife. Kaali also features Prakash Raj, Kalaiarasan, Nassar and Dinesh in important roles.  Santosh Narayanan is the musician and the film will be produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu with lavish budget.

Vikas Bahl's 'Shaandaar' first look poster released

The first look poster of Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's upcoming romantic comedy "Shaandaar" was released on Wednesday. Alia Bhatt shared the poster of the movie  and wrote “AND we are up!!!!This Dussehra make it SHAANDAAR !! @shahidkapoor #ShaandaarFirstLook #SHAANDAARonDUSSEHRA .”

Shahid Kapoor posted: “And the Shaandaar journey begins….#Shaandaarfirstlook .”

The first look features Shahid, looking smart in a leather jacket and a beard, while holding the quirkily dressed Alia, who is seen planting a kiss on her co-star's cheek.

Shahid and Alia are pairing together for the first time and the movie features Pankaj Kapur, Sanjay Kapoor, Karan Johar, Shahid’s sister Sanah in pivotal roles. The film is directed by Vikas Bahl of 'Queen' fame and is co-produced by Dharma Productions along with Phantom Films. Shaandaar tells the story of two insomniacs who fall in love at a destination wedding. The film's official trailer will be out on August 11th.

Akshay Kumar's 'Brothers' new poster released

Karan Malhotra's forthcoming action thriller Brothers is slated to release on August 14. Akshay Kumar, Siddharth Malhotra, Jacqueline Fernandez, Jackie Shroff  and Shefali Shah are playing lead roles in this much awaited movie.  The above poster was shared on the film's Twitter account @Brothers2015 with the caption, "David and Jenny redefine love in #Brothers. Check out the exclusive new poster. #BrothersAug14"

As soon as the poster was released, #BrothersAug14 started trending on Twitter.

'Brothers' is an official Hindi adaptation of the Hollywood film 'Warriors' and tells the story of two estranged brothers. 

Ranbir-Deepika's first look in Imtiaz Ali's 'Tamasha'

Ranbir Kapoor whose recent release 'Bombay Velvet' didn’t do well at the box office, is currently working on Imtiaz Ali's 'Tamasha'. Deepika Padukone is playing Ranbir's love interetst in the movie. Ranbir and Deepika are pairing up for the third time after Bachna Ae Haseeno and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani.  The filming of Tamasha is taking place in Corsica. Recenlty the makers released the official first look of Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone from the film.

The makers released the first look in Twitter. "Here’s Ranbir Kapoor and @deepikapadukone from the sets of Corsica’s schedule of @TamashaOfficial?."  The image shows Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone walking hand-in-hand in Corsica.

Ranbir Kapoor had earlier worked with Imtiaz Ali in critically acclaimed 'Rockstar'. Imtiaz Ali has shot parts of Tamasha in Corsica, France, Vasant Kunj, Hauz Khas Village and Cyber Hub (Gurgaon) in Delhi.  Produced Sajid Nadiadwala and presented by UTV Motion Pictures. November, 2015.

Kareena and Arjun Kapoor's next to be titled 'Ka and Ki'

We all know that director R Balki's next will have Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan in lead roles. The movie went on floors recently and the regular shooting of this film is expected to commence in the first week of August. Now the latest buzz is that the makers are considering ‘Ka and Ki’ as the title for this film. However, an official confirmation about the same is still awaited.

Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor will be seen playing the married couple in the movie. Kareena Kapoor Khan will be seen as a bread earner while Arjun Kapoor is the house-husband.Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan have been roped in to essay the crucial roles in the film.

Shruti Haasan turns lawyer for Ajith's next

Shruti Haasan would be seen in the role of a lawyer in Siruthai Siva's upcoming movie. Ajith is playing lead role and Shruti is pairing opposite Thala Ajith for the first time in this action entertainer tentatively titled Thala 56. On Thursday, Shruti Haasan posted a pic of her from the sets with the caption "Late night shoot on the streets – it’s always beautiful to watch a city fall asleep".

Aadhi to lock horns with Allu Arjun in Boyapati's next

It is known that Boyapati Srinu is all set to direct Allu Arjun's next and the film is expected to go on floors in the second week of August. Rakul Preet Singh will play Allu Arjun's love interest in this untitled action entertainer. Now the latest update is that Aadhi has been roped for the role of the antagonist in the film. Aadi has reportedly signed up to turn grey after hearing the script completely.

"Aadi has been signed on as the baddie. Director Boyapati Srinu really liked his performance in his last film and felt he would be perfect for the role with grey shades. Aadhi’s muscular body and his fluency in the language will be added advantage to enact the role. The official announcement will be made soon," a source from the film’s unit told.

'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' goes tax free in Uttar Pradesh

Salman Khan, who is currently riding high on the success of his recent release 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan', has one more reason to smile. The news is that Bajrangi Bhaijaan has been declared tax free in the state of Uttar Pradesh which is just another feather on the film's hat. UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Monday announced tax free status for "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" which is smashing records at the box office. The movie was made tax free after director Kabir Khan met the chief minister with the request.

Thulasi to play Kajal's mother in 'Brahmotsavam'

Kajal Agarwal is pairing up with Mahesh Babu for the second time in his upcoming movie 'Brahmotsavam'. Directed by Srikanth Addala, Brahmotsavam  will be a bi-lingual movie and will be shot in Tamil as well as in Telugu. The movie went on floors recently and the regular shoot will begin from July 24th. Now the latest news is that actress Thulasi has been roped to play the role of Kajal's mother in the movie. Saranya Mohan to enter wedlock with Aravind Krishnan

Actress Saranya Mohan, best known for her roles in movies like Vennila Kabbadi Kuzhu, Yaaradi Nee Mohini, Eeram and Velayudham is now ready to enter wedlock with Dr Aravind Krishnan. The lovely couple got engaged yesterday, the 12th July in private ceremony. Saranya shared the news with her fans through her facebook page accompanying an engagement photo.

She posted "I am taking this opportunity to officially announce you all about the most important day of my life that is about to come... my marriage... Deepa Mehta's 'Beeba Boys' trailer released

The theatrical trailer of Deepa Mehta's latest directorial Beeba Boys has been released. Randeep Hooda, Waris Ahluwalia, Paul Gross, Sarah Allen and Ali Momen is playing lead roles. Randeep Hooda, who is the Beeba Boy in the film took to the micro b
logging site to share its trailer.

"Based on true events.. A labour of love.. North American gangster #BeebaBoysTrailer" Randeep wrote.

The film 'Beeba Boys' shows the life story of the late Indo-Canadian criminal Bindy Johal, who was gunned down brutally in 1998. The shooting schedules have been completed and the post-production works are progressing at a brisk pace. Based and inspired on true life stories it will release in Hindi, English and Punjabi on October 16 this year.
