Shreya Ghoshal ties the knot with Shiladitya


National Award Winning Playback Singer Shreya Ghoshal has secretly tied the knot with her beau Shiladitya in a private ceremony. Only family members and close friends of the couple attended the wedding which was held in a function hall on the outskirts of the city yesterday.

Shreya Ghoshal officially announced her marriage on the social media today. She wrote, “Married the love of my life yesterday night (5th feb) in a beautiful bengali traditional wedding in presence of our families and closest friends. Shiladitya and I both seek your good wishes in this exciting new phase of our lives!”

A few days before the big day the singer expressed her nervousness on Twitter through a cryptic tweet on January 30. She posted, “Don’t know id I’m super nervous or super excited..Never felt like this b4. Whatever I am up to I will let u know soon;) but need ur wishes.” (sic).

Shiladitya happens to be the founder of hipcask.com.

Anushka Sharma's "NH 10" first look poster out

The much awaited poster of Anushka Sharma's debut production venture NH10 has been officially released.  Anushka Sharma  took to Twitter to reveal the first look of the film. She tweeted "Presenting the first look of my special film @NH10themovie 😊 is it intriguing?  #NH10FirstLook". In the poster, Anushka is seen holding a stick in her hand, however her face isn't visible. It has 'No Turning Back' written on it.

The film is also set to feature Neil Bhoopalam and Darshan Kumaar in key roles. Navdeep Singh, who won accolades with "Manorama 6 Feet Under" is weilding megaphone for this edge of the seat action thriller about a road trip that goes wrong.  Anushka Sharma is co-producing the film along with Phantom Productions and Eros, including Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Krishika Lulla, Vikas Bahl and Karnesh Sharma.

Palash Muchhal is composing music for 'NH 10', which is slated to release on 6th March 2015.

Kangna Ranaut bagged best actress trophy for 'Queen'

Actress Kangna Ranaut won the prized Black Lady for best actor(Female) for her boisterous performance in "Queen" at the 60th Britannia Filmfare Awards ceremony. Kangana, who saw off competition from Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit, Priyanka Chopra, Rani Mukerji and Sonam Kapoor in the best actress category, was not present to accept her award.

Kangna was present at an event in Mumbai Sunday when she was asked to share her emotions on winning the award.

“It feels great. I think that event I’m here for also talks about making your mark and last night (at the Filmfare Awards), I think in a way the kind of respect and acknowledgment that my film got, also literally meant making your mark.”

Apart for Kangana, Shahid Kapoor also won the Filmfare award for Best Actor (Male) for his performance in the film ‘Haider’.

Young star Alia Bhatt bagged the best actress (Critics) trophy for Highway and Sanjay Mishra won the best actor (Critics) for his outstanding performance in Ankhon Dekhi, which also earned director-writer Rajat Kapoor the best story gong.

Kriti Sanon won best debut female award for Heropanti, while Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan won the best debut male award for 'Khoobsurat'. Rajkumar Hirani and Abhijat Joshi won for PK in the best screenplay and best dialogue categories, which were the only wins for the Aamir Khan-starrer film.

Jai to do a cameo in Idhu Namma Aalu

Actor Jai, who is currenlty busy shooting with films like Valiyavan and Pugazh is said to have given his nod to do a cameo in Pandiraj's upcoming film "Idhu Namma Aalu". Simbu, Nayantara and Andrea Jeremiah are playing lead roles in INA. Soori and Santhanam prodving comic relief.  Jai will be seen in a cameo role in Simbu's 'Vaalu'. Interestingly, both STR and Jai have played the lead roles in Vettai Mannan which is still lying in the cans since 3 years.

'Idhu Namma Aalu' will see Nayantha
ra pairing up with Simbu after seven years and the expectations are sky rocketing.  Simbu plays an IT professional in the flash back and Andrea will be his teenage love.  Simbu's brother Kuralarasan is debuting as music director with Simbu Cine Arts producing Idhu Namma Aalu. Balasubramaniem is handling the camera.

Ajith offers prayers at Tirumala


Thala Ajith on Wednesday offered prayers at the famous hill temple of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala. Ajith who is awaiting the release of Gautham Menon's upcoming action entertainer "Yennai Arindhaal" reached Tirumala late on Tuesday night. After an overnight stay at the Padmavathi Guest House, Ajith offered prayers at the temple during the VIP break in the morning. Dressed in a casual way, Ajith looked completely devotional. The actor previously visited the temple and tonsured his head before the release of 'Veeram' and the film was a box office success.

'Shamitabh' is a fun-filled entertainer says Dhanush


Southern superstar Dhanush, who made a successful Bollywood debut in 2013 with 'Raanjhanaa', is  very busy with the promotion activities of his second Hindi film "Shamitabh".  The film will see Dhanush share screen space with thespian Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan's younger daughter Akshara Haasan. In a recent media interaction Dhanush says its concept may sound serious, but at heart it's a fun-filled entertainer.

'This film is about ego clash. The concept might sound serious but it's a very fun-filled film. There is amazing humour in this film. It's a new concept and hopefully it will be a refreshing experience for the audience,' Dhanush said here.

The actor is guarded about revealing what his character in 'Shamitabh' is.

'I don't have the liberty to say what my character is about. It is very close to the script, and if I say anything about my character, it'll be revealing the story of the film,' he added.

'Shamitabh', directed by R. Balakrishnan, is slated for release Feb 6.

Ajith's 'Yennai Arindhaal' clears censor with U/A

Thala Ajith's much anticipated action entertainer "Yennai Arindhaal" had completed all the shooting and post-production formalities and the censor certification was also completed to
day. This film has received U/A certification from the Censor Board. 'Yennai Arindhaal' has a running length of 3 hours 9 minutes with seven songs and five action sequences.

Thala Ajith will be seen as cop in Yennai Arindhaal and his name in this film is Sathyadev. Anushka is playing female lead opposite Ajith for the first time. Besides, Anushka the film has other star cast that includes Trisha Krishnan, Arun Vijay, and others. Gautham Vasudev Menon is weilding megaphone for this movie. Harish Jayaraj composed the music.

Krishnamma Kalipindhi Iddarini to hit screens on Feb 14th


Sudheer Babu and Nanditha's forthcoming love entertainer "Krishnamma Kalipindhi Iddarini" has finished the shooting and the post production is on at a fast pace.  The makers have locked the film's release date on 14th February on the occasion of Valentines day. Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarini brings the hit combination of Sudheer Babu and Nanditha, from Prema Katha Chitram, back together.  The film is a Telugu remake of the hit Kannada film, Charminar. Chandru who has directed the original Kannada version is weilding megaphone.  Lagadapati Sirisha Sridhar is producing the movie under Rama Lakshmi Cine Creations banner.

Professional Dhanush kisses Akshara's butt


The second trailer of "Shamitabh" has been released and it has been trending on the social networking sites. In the trailer Akshara tells Dhanush ‘Kiss my arse, Monkey’ then Dhanush immediately bends over and kisses Akshara's butt. Definitely this is one of the rarest scenes a star hero has done on silver screen. Dhanush proved his professionalism by doing the act.

Directed by R. Balki, the film will see Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush sharing screen space for the first time. This will be Dhanush’s second film in Bollywood after Raanjhana. Kamal’s younger daughter Akshara Haasan is making her debut as actress. Ilayaraja composed the music and PC Sreeram is the cinematographer. The movie is all set to hit the screens on 6th February.

Abhishek does a unexpected cameo in 'Shamitabh'

Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan who was last seen in the hit film "Happy New Year" did an unpredicted cameo in his father's upcoming movie 'Shamitabh.' According to a member of the film unit, when Big B was shooting at Mumbai airport, Abhishek dropped in the sets, who just landed from London. Director R. Balki who saw the Junior Bachchan sitting on a chair, asked his cameraman to capture Abhishek too and later the director informed the 'Guru' actor that he was caught on camera.

Balki clarified that Abhishek's has no role or dialogue in the film and his appearance is just unplanned, not at all part of the script. 'Shamitabh' features Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush in the lead roles while Kamal Haasan's second daughter Akshara Haasan is making her debut with this film. The trailer has already impressed the audience and the movie will hit the screens in February.

"Shamitabh", which is releasing Feb 6, also stars veteran actress Rekha in a key role. Maestro Ilaiyaraaja provided music for 'Shamitabh' and P.C. Sreeram handled cinematography.

Vijay Kumar Konda is all set to direct Allu Arjun


Director Vijay Kumar Konda who has proved his mettle is most sought after director at the moment following 'Oka Laila Kosam' success. Vijay Kumar Konda has proved his mettle as a director with his debut film Gunde Jaari Gallantayyinde itself. If the latest buzz is to be believed, Vijay is all set to direct Allu Arjun for his next film.

“Arjun and I recently met and discussed a story, which he really liked. Although he has expressed his interest to work in it, nothing has been made official yet. It will still take a while for the project to materialise,” Konda told.

Arjun is currently busy shooting for yet-untitled Telugu film with Trivikram Srinivas. This is the second time they’ve collaborated after “Julayi”.

Meanwhile, Vijay will give his script some final touches.

Actress Amala Paul has denied rumors about her pregnancy. These rumors have been doing the rounds for the last few days and Amala finally took to twitter to clear these unfounded rumors. She posted, "Tummy's a bit overwhelmed from all the scrumptous action and now the media speculates that I'm havin a baby!! #LMAO" Sorry to disappoint, but it's jus that I enjoyed Christmas a little bit more this year! This is the second time certain media is presuming this, you shouldn't worry I needn't hide things if it happens !!!".

Milap Zaveri blessed with a baby boy

Director Milap Zaveri, who has delivered four commercial hits consecutively, in the form of ‘Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai’, ‘Shootout At Wadala’, ‘Grand Masti’, ‘Main Tera Hero’ and ‘Ek Villain’ has been blessed with a baby boy.

Milap took to Twitter to chime in about the good news.  He wrote, “And it's a Boy!!!!! :)) @zgouri and I have been blessed with an adorable traveller on life's beautiful journey!!!”

“So so happyyyyyy!!!!! The baby and mother @zgouri are both healthy and fine! Our #Mastizaada has arrived!!!”, he further expressed.
