'Kanchana 2' first look poster released

The first look posters of Raghava Lawrence's forthcoming horror thriller "Kanchana 2" has been released today.  Tapsee Pannu is playing female lead opposite Lawrence in this horror franchise. Beautiful actress Nithya Menon is reportedly doing a cameo role. The shooting schedules have been completed and the post-production works are progressing at a brisk pace. The movie was earlier named as Muni 3 - Ganga but was renamed as 'Kanchana 2'.

Kanchana 2 stars Kovai Sarala, Devadarshini, Jangiri Madhumitha, Renuka and Pooja Ramachandran in pivotal roles. Thaman is scoring music for Kanchana 2 and the audio launch date will be out soon. The movie is scheduled to hit the screens on April 17th and Sun Pictures in association with Thenandal Films will be distributing it across the globe. This film will be released in telugu and Tamil simultaneously.

Nani begins shooting for 'Bhale Bhale Magadivoy'

Actor Nani, who is awaiting the release of Yevade Subramanyam has started shooting for his next flick 'Bhale Bhale Magadivoy'. The first schedule of this film is currently on in Shamshabad, and some key scenes are being canned on Nani and his team. Maruthi who earlier directed movies like Bus Stop, Ee Rojullo and Kotha Janta is weilding megaphone for this youthful entertainer. shooting for this flick. Andala Rakshaki fame Lavanya Tripati is playing female lead opposite Nani for the first time. UV Creations is producing this film in association with GA2 banner, a sister concern of Allu Aravind's Geeta Arts.

Shahrukh Khan's 'Atharva - The Origin' second poster out

After the super success of "Happy New Year", Shahrukh Khan is currently shooting for Maneesh Sharma's 'Fan' and Rahul Dholakia's 'Raees'. Apart from these two biggies Shahrukh Khan will be seen playing the titular role in animated graphic novel titled "Atharva – The Origin". The project, headed by Vel Mohan, is an adaptation of Ramesh Tamilmani’s novel of the same name.

Few days ago the makers released the teaser and first look of Shahrukh from the movie.   Now, the makers of the animated movie released a new look of Shahrukh, in which the actor flaunts his eight pack abs, holding a sword and a shield. The look of Shahrukh in the newly released poster reminds us of SRK's look in Ashoka.

The novel will be made available in print, smart TV, Kindle and E book formats by middle of 2015.

Salman Khan to play Boxer in YRF's 'Sultan'

Bollywood 'Dabangg' Salman Khan is undoubtedly one of the busiest actors in B-town. The 'Kick' actor is currently working on Sooraj Barjatya's "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" and  Kabir Khan's 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'. Recently, Salman has given his nod to star in a film titled 'Sultan' to be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar for Yash Raj Films.  Buzz is that Deepika will share screen opposite Salman in this crazy project. Reportedly, Salman will be seen playing a 40-year old boxer in ‘Sultan’ which is slated to hit the theatres on Eid next year.

A source reveals, "In Sultan, Salman plays the title role of a 40-year old boxer. It'd require a huge amount of preparation. Salman would have to change his entire physique and body language. It'd entail many months of a strict exercise regime and a new diet control so he can acquire a boxer's body. With his heavy commitments, Salman is not sure how he will be able to give Sultan the time attention and single-minded focus it requires."

Interestingly, Aamir Khan is getting ready to play a wrestler on Nitish Tiwari's 'Dangal' and Akshay Kumar plays a boxer in Karan Malhotra's Brothers and Ranbir Kapoor is reportedly will be seen boxing as a street fighter in Bombay Velvet. 

Akshay Kumar's 'Brothers' first look released

Khiladi Akshay Kumar is currently shooting for Dharma Productions' next 'Brothers' which is in final stages of shoot. Directed by 'Agneepath' famed Karan Malhotra, the film stars Sidharth Malhotra,  Jacqueline Fernandez and Jackie Shroff in keyd roles. On Sunday, Akshay revealed the first look of Brothers via Twitter.

"Here's the first look of my next film @Brothers2015 exclusively for you guys, would love to know your thoughts,"Akshay tweeted.

'Brothers' is an official remake of Hollywood flick 'Warrior', and it is based on the story of two brothers who are against each other. Akshay Kumar was seen in a white beard in the movie.  Akshay even sports a Jesus tattoo. Jackie Shroff plays the role of Akshay and Siddharth’s father.

Brothers is slated to release on 14th August, 2015.

Ailing Sonam Kapoor thanks fans for wishes

Sonam Kapoor who is recuperating from swine flu at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital on Thursday took to micro-blogging site Twitter to update her fans about her health condition. The 'Dolly Ki Doli' actress says she is on the road to speedy recovery and thanked her fans and well wishers for showering their love and affection on her.

“Hi everybody I’m feeling much better…Thank you for all your wishes for my recovery,” Sonam tweeted on Thursday.

"Unfortunately not getting discharged today.. Thank you all for the love.." she added.

Sonam Kapoor was diagnosed with swine flu in Rajkot while shooting for Sooraj Barjatya's upcoming film ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ in which she stars opposite actor Salman Khan. Earlier, Sonam was admitted to the same hospital after contacting a respiratory infection.

“S/o Satya Murthy” satellite rights sold for Rs 9.5 Crores

Stylish Star Allu Arjun's forthcoming romantic entertainer S/o Satya Murthy which is getting shaped in the hands Trivikram Srinivas is taking place its shoot at brisk pace. Samantha, Adah Sharma and Nitya Menon are playing female leads. Now the latest update is that Maa TV has bagged the satellite rights of  “S/o Satya Murthy” for a whopping price nearly Rs 9.5 Crore. Allu Arjun’s previous release 'Race Gurram' has fetched only Rs. 7.5 crores from Gemini TV.

"S/o Satya Murthy"movie also features Rajendra Prasad, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Kannada star Upendra and smiling actress Sneha in key roles.  Devi Sri Prasad composed the music and the audio will be launched on March 8th, 2015. If buzz is to be believed, Pawan Kalyan and Prince Mahesh Babu are likely to attend the event as chief guests.

The movie is produced by S. Radha Krishna under the banner of Haarika and Hassine Creations and Geetha Arts.  "S/o Satya Murthy" is slated for release on April 2nd.

Pawan Kalyan set to weild megaphone for 'Sardar'

Power Star Pawan Kalyan will begin shooting of his next film Gabbar Singh 2 from March. KS Ravindra is weilding megaphone for this much delayed project and Anisha Ambrose has been roped in as female lead opposite Pawan Kalyan.  Now the latest buzz is that Pawan Kalyan is all set weild megaphone again. Pawan has reportedly registered the title 'Sardar' on his own banner, Pawan Kalyan Creative Works Pvt. Ltd. Film Chamber has given approval for the title without any objection.

Speculations are rife that, Pawan Kalyan will be directing and producing this movie titled Sardar which is touted to be a stunning action entertainer with political message and social drama. Pawan's close friend Trivikram Srinivas is said to be working on the screenplay and dialogue part. Pawan Kalyan made his directorial debut with Jhonny, which was a big time flop.

Veteran director Dasari Narayana Rao has also announced that he would be producing a movie with Pawan Kalyan on his Taraka Prabhu Films.

Varun Tej to romance Pragya Jaiswal in Krish's next

Mega Brother Naga Babu's son Varun Tej is teaming up with critically acclaimed director Krish for his second movie. The makers are considering the title 'Kanche' for the movie. The film which will produced by Rajeev Reddy under First Frame Entertainments Pvt.Ltd will be started on 27th of this month. According to the latest buzz former Miss India contestant Pragya Jaiswal has been roped to play female lead opposite Varun in this movie.

Pragya who is all set to make her debut in Tollywood with Mirchi Laanti Kurradu is delighted with the offer. Genelia ready for her post-motherhood comeback

Bubbly Actress Genelia D'Souza is ready for a comeback on silver screen. Genelia, who had taken a sabbatical from movies post her marriage to Riteish Deshmukh gave birth to a baby boy on November 25, 2014. Genelia was present at a promotional event here Tuesday for the first time. While interacting with media the "Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na" actress said she is now ready to make a comeback in Bollywood and will focus on her acting career.

"I don't think I ever left it, but yes I am on a break, I would love to be back, I would love to do something that makes me happy, that makes people happy and I am ready now for comeback" Genelia said.

Genelia established herself in South cinema. Her character of Haasini in Bhaskar's love entertainer 'Bommarillu' earned rave reviews.

Kangna and Imran Khan's 'Katti Batti' first look

It is known news that Kangna Ranaut and Imran Khan are pairing together for the first time in Nikhil Advani's upcoming romantic comedy "Katti Batti". The shooting of the movie is progressing at brisk pace.  The makers recently released the first look of lead pair from the movie. Kangana's look in the film, which was revealed on Twitter, is very fresh and bohemian. Kangana, who will play a Delhi based art student named Payal in the movie is bedecked with junk jewellery including bangles, watch and an armlet. She is sitting pretty in a blue tank top and yellow skirt. "Katti Batti" will be produced by UTV Motion Pictures and is scheduled for a worldwide release on 18 September, 2015. 

Emraan injures his wrist while shooting for Azhar's biopic

Bollywood Serial Kisser Emraan Hashmi has injured his wrist during the shooting of his upcoming biopic on former Indian cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin. It is learnt that Emraan had been working extensively for the movie, attending several intense training sessions. During one such practice sessions, Emraan pulled a muscle and carried on to practice despite having painful swelling on his wrists. In severe pain, doctors advised Emraan to go for a break of at least three to four days.

According to Anthony D'Souza, since Azharuddin is known for being a wristy player, Emraan too had been playing only with his wrists. In fact, Emraan used to hit nearly 300 to 400 balls a day as he wanted to look authentic and match Azharuddin's style.

The biopic starring Emraan Hashmi has already been delayed for various reasons. Last year the film was postponed because of the bad health of the actor's son. Now, that Emraan's injury has affected the film. The biopic features Prachi Desai as Azhar’s first wife Naureen.

Zakir Hussain turns Psycho lover in 'Game Paisa Ladki'

Actor Zakir Hussain, who impressed the audiences and critics with his natural acting in movies like "Phoonk", "Johnny Gaddar", "Sarkar", "Shagird" is playing the role of a psycho lover in the movie "Game Paisa Ladki" directed by Sachin Agarwal

"Zakir will be seen in a never before intense, dark and grey character in this movie, something which he hasn't attempted before. He is essaying the role of psycho lover who goes a bit out of control. He will surely leave the audience asking for more," Agarwal told.

The director also thinks that his performance in "Game Paisa Ladki" is among his finest works.

"A surprise package in the film will be a song where the hero and the villain will together romance the heroine. And of course, Zakir will be one of them," he said.

"Game Paisa Ladki" also features Sezal Sharma, Ranjeet, Sitaram Panchal among others.

The film is produced by Atul Patel and Sajan Agarwal under the banner Modern Movie Pvt. Ltd. The film is slated to hit the screens in April 2015.
