Ranveer Singh tweets from operation theatre

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh got himself injured while performing an action sequence for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Bajirao Mastani".  Ranveer Singh fell from a horse while shooting a scene in Jaipur and got injured his arm. Initially the actor went through regular physiotherapy, but wasn’t able to recover from the injury. On Saturday, Ranveer underwent surgery in Hinduja hospital, Mumbai to fix his injured shoulder.

Ranveer Singh even shared a picture from the operation theatre. In a series of tweets he posted, “Live tweet from the operation theatre!! About to get knocked out!”

Ranveer's good friend from the industry Arjun Kapoor responded to the actor's hilarious picture saying, "@RanveerOfficial ur a reality show on ur own baba." (sic).

Post surgery, doctors have advised the star to be on complete bed rest for around three weeks. Once he recovers, he will rejoin the set in May. He is strictly warned that he shouldn’t engage in any fight sequence or one that involves physical activities.

Abhishek Bahcchan joins Aishwarya Rai's 'Jazbaa'

Actor Abhishek Bachchan is going to act in a cameo in Aishwarya Rai’s comeback movie 'Jazbaa' . This was confirmed by director Sanjay Gupta in his tweet.

"Big excitement at the shoot today as Abhishek Bachchan shoots his special appearance in JAZBAA," Sanjay Gupta wrote.

The shooting of the film commenced a few days back and is progressing at brisk pace.  Aishwarya Rai will play the role of a Lawyer in the movie. Irfaan is playing the role of suspended cop. The movie also features Anupam Kher, Atul Kulkarni, Siddhanth Kapoor and Chandan Roy Sanyal in pivotal roles.

'Jazbaa' will be Aishwarya's first project after 4 years and is slated to hit the screens on October 9th.

Sridevi to play Prabhas mother in Sujith's next

Prabhas, who is wrapping up Rajamouli's period drama "Bahubali" is all set to team up with 'Run Raja Run' director Sujith for a new movie.  The movie will be started soon and will be produced by UV Creations. As per the latest update Sridevi is being considered for the role of Young Rebel star Prabhas’s mother in this film.  Though an official confirmation about this is awaited, buzz making vibes that Sridevi is gaining few kilos to suit the role.

Sridevi is making her comeback in Tamil cinema with Vijay's "Puli". Shruti Haasana and Hansika are playing female lead roles. Sridevi is playing a Queen in this film. Chimbudevan is weilding megaphone for this socio-fantasy movie.

Shawar Ali married to his soulmate Marsela Ayesha

Model-turned-actor Shawar Ali who made his debut with erotic thriller Hawas, tied the knot with her girlfriend Marsela Ayesha yesterday in Mumbai.  The marriage was solemnised as per their religious customs and the couple looked all vibrant in the designer outfits. It is heard that it is a love cum arranged marriage.   Shawar's close friends from the industry like Zulfi Sayed, Khalid Siddiqui and director Akbar Khan were in attendance.

An excited Shawar said, "Yes it's a special day for me as Marsela and I are finally married."

He further said, “Actually there has been a death in my family and so I am not keeping the celebrations too loud. I will have a marriage function in my native place Bhopal very soon besides I would also host a party in Mumbai where I will invite the industry people.”

Shawar was seen essaying character roles in films like Asambhav, Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap, Ab..Bas, Om Shanti Om and Fareb.

Anushka becomes Tweeples target after Virat's poor show in semis

Anushka Sharma who was among the spectators at SCG is facing the ire of Tweeples, after Virat Kohli failed to play a big innings in the semi-final match against Australia on Thursday. Virat Kohli played 13 balls to score only one run before getting out. Twitter has been abuzz with jokes on Anushka who flew down to Sydney to cheer for her beau.

Zarine Khan set for Tollywood debut opposite Srikanth

Bollywood actress Zareen Khan who made her screen debut with 'Veer' opposite Salman Khan is all set to make her Tollywood debut. The actress will be playing the female lead in the upcoming entertainer titled 'Jalsa Rayudu' directed by Sudheer Raju. Srikanth is playing the lead role in the movie and the actor will be seen as a casanova in the film. The movie also features Esther Noronha and Prachi Sinha in important roles.

Talking to a leading daily Sudheer Raju said, "I wanted to spring a surprise with the film's casting. I saw Zareen's earlier films and was very impressed with her acting and dance skills. She fits the bill perfectly and when we approached her for the role, she agreed to do it. However, negotiations are still on. She is yet to sign on the dotted line."

Zarine Khan who was last seen in the Hindi film 'Housefull 2' is playing the role of a princess in Tamil period film Karikalan opposite Vikram.

Legendary music composer Ilayaraja has joined Social networking site Facebook to keep fake accounts at bay.  Ilayaraja officially announced his entry into FB world posting a brief video on the details of his Facebook Official entry. His verified official page is

Aishwarya Rai's 'Jazbaa' first look in April

It is old news and we had already revealed you that Aishwarya Rai is making her comeback with Sanjay Gupta's action film "Jazbaa". This film’s shooting got started recently and is progressing at brisk pace. Now the latest news is that Sanjay will release the first look of "Jazbaa" in April this year. Sanjay Gupta took to Twitter to share the details.

As per sources, Aishwarya Rai will be playing the role of a lawyer who is forced to defend a death row convict. The film also features Irrfan Khan, Anupam Kher, Atul Kulkarni, Chandan Roy Sanyal and Shabana Azmi. 

'Vai Raja Vai' to hit screens on April 24th

Aishwarya Dhanush's second directorial 'Vai Raja Vai' featuring Gautham Karthik and Priya Anand in lead roles is scheduled to hit the screens on April 24th 2015. The film is in the last leg of shooting and if all goes well, the entire film will be wrapped up in the next few weeks.  Vai Rjaa Vai is produced under AGS Entertainments banner. Their CEO Archana Kalpathi posted, "#VaiRajaVai copy will be ready this month. Censor will be done by end of March Tentatively scheduled for release on 24th April", in her official Twitter page.

Taapsee, Daniel Balaji, Vivek and Manobala will be seen in important roles and also actor “Dhanush” doing a cameo as “Kokki Kumar” in the movie. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed Vai Raja Vai music album was released in December, 2014 and went to become instant hit with music lovers.

Aishwarya Dhanush made her debut as director with '3' featuring her husband and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles.

'Kanchana 2' first look poster released

The first look posters of Raghava Lawrence's forthcoming horror thriller "Kanchana 2" has been released today.  Tapsee Pannu is playing female lead opposite Lawrence in this horror franchise. Beautiful actress Nithya Menon is reportedly doing a cameo role. The shooting schedules have been completed and the post-production works are progressing at a brisk pace. The movie was earlier named as Muni 3 - Ganga but was renamed as 'Kanchana 2'.

Kanchana 2 stars Kovai Sarala, Devadarshini, Jangiri Madhumitha, Renuka and Pooja Ramachandran in pivotal roles. Thaman is scoring music for Kanchana 2 and the audio launch date will be out soon. The movie is scheduled to hit the screens on April 17th and Sun Pictures in association with Thenandal Films will be distributing it across the globe. This film will be released in telugu and Tamil simultaneously.

Nani begins shooting for 'Bhale Bhale Magadivoy'

Actor Nani, who is awaiting the release of Yevade Subramanyam has started shooting for his next flick 'Bhale Bhale Magadivoy'. The first schedule of this film is currently on in Shamshabad, and some key scenes are being canned on Nani and his team. Maruthi who earlier directed movies like Bus Stop, Ee Rojullo and Kotha Janta is weilding megaphone for this youthful entertainer. shooting for this flick. Andala Rakshaki fame Lavanya Tripati is playing female lead opposite Nani for the first time. UV Creations is producing this film in association with GA2 banner, a sister concern of Allu Aravind's Geeta Arts.

Shahrukh Khan's 'Atharva - The Origin' second poster out

After the super success of "Happy New Year", Shahrukh Khan is currently shooting for Maneesh Sharma's 'Fan' and Rahul Dholakia's 'Raees'. Apart from these two biggies Shahrukh Khan will be seen playing the titular role in animated graphic novel titled "Atharva – The Origin". The project, headed by Vel Mohan, is an adaptation of Ramesh Tamilmani’s novel of the same name.

Few days ago the makers released the teaser and first look of Shahrukh from the movie.   Now, the makers of the animated movie released a new look of Shahrukh, in which the actor flaunts his eight pack abs, holding a sword and a shield. The look of Shahrukh in the newly released poster reminds us of SRK's look in Ashoka.

The novel will be made available in print, smart TV, Kindle and E book formats by middle of 2015.

Salman Khan to play Boxer in YRF's 'Sultan'

Bollywood 'Dabangg' Salman Khan is undoubtedly one of the busiest actors in B-town. The 'Kick' actor is currently working on Sooraj Barjatya's "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" and  Kabir Khan's 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'. Recently, Salman has given his nod to star in a film titled 'Sultan' to be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar for Yash Raj Films.  Buzz is that Deepika will share screen opposite Salman in this crazy project. Reportedly, Salman will be seen playing a 40-year old boxer in ‘Sultan’ which is slated to hit the theatres on Eid next year.

A source reveals, "In Sultan, Salman plays the title role of a 40-year old boxer. It'd require a huge amount of preparation. Salman would have to change his entire physique and body language. It'd entail many months of a strict exercise regime and a new diet control so he can acquire a boxer's body. With his heavy commitments, Salman is not sure how he will be able to give Sultan the time attention and single-minded focus it requires."

Interestingly, Aamir Khan is getting ready to play a wrestler on Nitish Tiwari's 'Dangal' and Akshay Kumar plays a boxer in Karan Malhotra's Brothers and Ranbir Kapoor is reportedly will be seen boxing as a street fighter in Bombay Velvet.
