Parineeti Chopra buys her dream home

Parineeti Chopra, who made her acting debut with "Ladies vs Ricky Bahl" is one among the most wanted actresses now in Bollywood. The actress who was last seen in Kill Dil is over the moon about having finally bought a "sea-view" apartment for herself in Mumbai's posh area Bandra. She says it was her dream to have a house in the city.

"I have finally found my house and bought it. I was dying to have a house in Mumbai and it has finally happened due to god's grace," Parineeti said here Monday at an event to announce her as the first female ambassador of clothing brand Siyaram.

"It's a beautiful sea-view apartment in Bandra so I am very happy," she added.

Interestingly, actress Preity Zinta also owns an apartment in the same complex in Bandra.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Parineeti has no project locked for the year. She says she has not decided on any film yet.

Priyanka Chopra completes 12 years in Bollywood

Actress Priyanka Chopra, who awaits the release of 'Dil Dhadakne Do' has completed 12 years in the Hindi film industry. The pretty actress took to Twitter to express her gratitude towards her fans and followers.

“Wow! 12 yrs! I came here as a scared lil 17 yr old. I thank u for accepting me and always giving my idiosyncrasies undying support. #Gratitude,” she wrote.

Priyanka made her Bollywood debut with 2003 spy thriller "The Hero: Love Story of a Spy". In the same year Priyanka played lead role in "Andaaz" -- for which she won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.  PC has starred in more than 40 films including "Aitraaz", "Waqt: The Race Against Time", "Krrish", "Fashion" "Saat Khoon Maaf", "Don", "Barfi" and "Gunday". The 32-year-old was last seen playing the titular role in biopic "Mary Kom".

Apart from her acting skills, Priyanka has also shown her singing abilities alongside international artists Pitbull and Will.i.am.

Sarika supposed to play Kalki's mother in 'Margarita With A Straw'

Actress Kalki Koechlin plays a cerebral palsy-affected girl in "Margarita With A Straw" which is slated to hit the screens on April 17th. Directed by Shonali Bose the movie has been appreciated on the international platform as well as well as members of Hindi film industry.  In a recent media interaction Shonali has revealed that Kamal's estranged wife Sarika was the first choice to play the role of Kalki Koechlin’s mother in the film which later went to Revathi.

“For the mother’s role, we thought we must go by physical resemblance and acting talent so Sarika was our first choice.

“She loved the script but when we had to wait for three months for Kalki then Sarika had given dates to other projects then we approached Revathi. I told Revathi to read the script then she said she wants to do it. She has done a fabulous job in the film,” Bose said.

Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan will host a private screening of Kalki Koechlin‘s upcoming film “Margarita, With A Straw” for his friends today at Mumbai. Mr Perfectionist

Mani Ratnam's 'Ok Kanmani' land in legal trouble

Ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s ‘OK Kanmani’ featuring Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen in lead roles is slated for April 17th release. The romantic drama which is touted to be a sequel of ‘Alaipayuthey’ revolves around a young couple in a live-in relationship who go abroad to pursue their dreams.

Now the latest news is that 'Ok Kanmani; is facing legal trouble over release. According to sources, a well-known film distributor has lodged a complaint with the Tamil Film Producers’ Council requesting to halt the release of ‘OK Kanamni’ till Mani Ratnam compensated the distributors for the huge losses they suffered while releasing his previous film ‘Kadal’.

Lawrence 'Kanchana 2' censored with U/A

Raghava Lawrence's upcoming horror comedy "Kanchana -2"  is gearing up for a worldwide release on 17th April. The movie today completed its censor formalities and received U/A Certificate from the censor board officials couple of minutes back. Tapsee Pannu is playing female lead opposite Lawrence. Nithya Menon plays the ghost in this thriller film.

Tweeting about the film, Taapsee stated: “So #kanchana2 censored with U/A. We will be there in theatres to make you laugh and freak you out at the same time. My 2 years of hardwork.”

Kovai Sarala, Sriman and Devadharishini are playing pivotal roles in this movie. Sources say that Kanchana 2 carries the socially related message which will touch the hearts of the audiences. This horror comedy film will be simultaneously released in Telugu and Tamil.  Recently the makers unveiled the audio of the film and the songs are getting favorable response from the music listeners. Rajavel Olhiveeran handles Cinematography. Tollywood producer Bellamkonda Suresh produces the film.

Salman's 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' to release this Diwali

Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya's upcoming family entertainer Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is now confirmed as a Diwali release. The movie release date has been confirmed on November 11th.
Sonam Kapoor is playing female lead opposite Salman Khan.

Ranveer Singh tweets from operation theatre

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh got himself injured while performing an action sequence for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Bajirao Mastani".  Ranveer Singh fell from a horse while shooting a scene in Jaipur and got injured his arm. Initially the actor went through regular physiotherapy, but wasn’t able to recover from the injury. On Saturday, Ranveer underwent surgery in Hinduja hospital, Mumbai to fix his injured shoulder.

Ranveer Singh even shared a picture from the operation theatre. In a series of tweets he posted, “Live tweet from the operation theatre!! About to get knocked out!”

Ranveer's good friend from the industry Arjun Kapoor responded to the actor's hilarious picture saying, "@RanveerOfficial ur a reality show on ur own baba." (sic).

Post surgery, doctors have advised the star to be on complete bed rest for around three weeks. Once he recovers, he will rejoin the set in May. He is strictly warned that he shouldn’t engage in any fight sequence or one that involves physical activities.

Abhishek Bahcchan joins Aishwarya Rai's 'Jazbaa'

Actor Abhishek Bachchan is going to act in a cameo in Aishwarya Rai’s comeback movie 'Jazbaa' . This was confirmed by director Sanjay Gupta in his tweet.

"Big excitement at the shoot today as Abhishek Bachchan shoots his special appearance in JAZBAA," Sanjay Gupta wrote.

The shooting of the film commenced a few days back and is progressing at brisk pace.  Aishwarya Rai will play the role of a Lawyer in the movie. Irfaan is playing the role of suspended cop. The movie also features Anupam Kher, Atul Kulkarni, Siddhanth Kapoor and Chandan Roy Sanyal in pivotal roles.

'Jazbaa' will be Aishwarya's first project after 4 years and is slated to hit the screens on October 9th.

Sridevi to play Prabhas mother in Sujith's next

Prabhas, who is wrapping up Rajamouli's period drama "Bahubali" is all set to team up with 'Run Raja Run' director Sujith for a new movie.  The movie will be started soon and will be produced by UV Creations. As per the latest update Sridevi is being considered for the role of Young Rebel star Prabhas’s mother in this film.  Though an official confirmation about this is awaited, buzz making vibes that Sridevi is gaining few kilos to suit the role.

Sridevi is making her comeback in Tamil cinema with Vijay's "Puli". Shruti Haasana and Hansika are playing female lead roles. Sridevi is playing a Queen in this film. Chimbudevan is weilding megaphone for this socio-fantasy movie.

Shawar Ali married to his soulmate Marsela Ayesha

Model-turned-actor Shawar Ali who made his debut with erotic thriller Hawas, tied the knot with her girlfriend Marsela Ayesha yesterday in Mumbai.  The marriage was solemnised as per their religious customs and the couple looked all vibrant in the designer outfits. It is heard that it is a love cum arranged marriage.   Shawar's close friends from the industry like Zulfi Sayed, Khalid Siddiqui and director Akbar Khan were in attendance.

An excited Shawar said, "Yes it's a special day for me as Marsela and I are finally married."

He further said, “Actually there has been a death in my family and so I am not keeping the celebrations too loud. I will have a marriage function in my native place Bhopal very soon besides I would also host a party in Mumbai where I will invite the industry people.”

Shawar was seen essaying character roles in films like Asambhav, Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap, Ab..Bas, Om Shanti Om and Fareb.

Anushka becomes Tweeples target after Virat's poor show in semis

Zarine Khan set for Tollywood debut opposite Srikanth

Bollywood actress Zareen Khan who made her screen debut with 'Veer' opposite Salman Khan is all set to make her Tollywood debut. The actress will be playing the female lead in the upcoming entertainer titled 'Jalsa Rayudu' directed by Sudheer Raju. Srikanth is playing the lead role in the movie and the actor will be seen as a casanova in the film. The movie also features Esther Noronha and Prachi Sinha in important roles.

Talking to a leading daily Sudheer Raju said, "I wanted to spring a surprise with the film's casting. I saw Zareen's earlier films and was very impressed with her acting and dance skills. She fits the bill perfectly and when we approached her for the role, she agreed to do it. However, negotiations are still on. She is yet to sign on the dotted line."

Zarine Khan who was last seen in the Hindi film 'Housefull 2' is playing the role of a princess in Tamil period film Karikalan opposite Vikram.

Legendary music composer Ilayaraja has joined Social networking site Facebook to keep fake accounts at bay.  Ilayaraja officially announced his entry into FB world posting a brief video on the details of his Facebook Official entry. His verified official page is
